Raimund completed his study at Technical University in Graz, Austria and was active as a scientific coworker at the Institut for communications technology, wave propagation and space research from 1990 to 1994.

Raimund developed an ion current mass spectrometer for the Austrian space program "AUSTROMIR." His innovations included highly sensitive ion current measuring amplifiers, digital measuring systems, raster amplifiers, diagram maps as well as high voltage supply to ion optics. Raimund achived his doctorate of technical sciences in 1996.

As the co-founder of EFKON, he developed the core technologies of Infrared DSRC (Dedicated Short Range Communication) and was actively relevant in the concept production of intermodal ITS applications. These substantial innovative developments were internationally patented

Norbert completed his diploma studies of Business at the WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) within the minimum duration of study, receiving excellence scholarships; followed by studies of Social and Economic Sciences within the Doctoral program of the WU. 

Norbert had various top management positions within his 20 years of international industrial experience. He had worked for global players like VA TECH and Siemens; recently also for STRABAG, one of Europe’s leading construction groups, with approximately 75.500 employees and an output volume of around € 13 billion in 2009, before he became a member of the EFKON Executive Board in November 2009.
