ANPR – Automatic Number Plate Recognition
Automatic vehicle identification and access control are granted with the ANPR Module within the AccessManagement software. As front-end sensor EFKON recommends its integrated small-sized and cost efficient ANPR camera FCAM for effective license plate recognition. For each lane one camera has to be installed which already comprises an automatically triggered monochrome camera (optional colour camera), an illumination unit and an ANPR engine. As an alternative other, high level EFKON camera types like the Image Acquisition Camera IAC or the Intelligent Surveillance and Enforcement Camera ISEC as well as already existing cameras can be connected.
