The EFKON AE TITAN® 3000 system is a high end vehicle classification and detection solution. Developed in modular software and hardware design it fits perfectly into EFKON’s complete MLFF Tolling solution EFKON SATURN®.
This system configuration – with height/distance measurement in the sensing area and analysis and processing in the roadside controller – enables a high precision detection of motorway behaviour such as lane-straddling and tailgating correlated with vehicle class and speed.
The combination of high processing power in the roadside controller paired with the high scanning rate of the AE TOM 3000 laser sensor results in a high detection rate even for motorcycles.
As single gantry and single laser scanner application with up to 8 scanners per classification controller the solution provides economic and flexible detection & classification from Single Lane Free Flow to Multi Lane Free Flow in terrestrial or GNSS tolling environments.
