As an alternative of the using commonly used ATB- or barcode paper tickets our “Check-In Smart” utilizes a contactless smartcard as electronic ticket & boarding pass. All passengers are enabled to check-in fast & convenient by simply wiping the RFID card at all the control points: the airport entry and first check-in point, the security control up to final gate control. The solution offers unique advantages for each stakeholder - the passenger, the airport and the airline.

Additionally the solution supports easy and fast check-in via mobile phones. The user doesn’t have to perform inconvenient data entering or handling at the mobile: the solution is intelligent and able to track, identify and check-in registered mobile users fully-automated when entering the airport zone. That capability is supported via GSM mobile providers “location based service” option. This is secure, because only registered users are getting tracked and the security check will be performed as usual. Thus users with hand baggage are enabled to perform check-in and boarding at the fastest possible way.
