EFKON is partnering with the VCÖ to support a high-profile expert conference on the topic of traffic reduction in city centers. The conference, held on October 23, attracted about 250 participants. International speakers and experts from Oslo (City Toll Oslo), London (City Tolling and Ultra Low Emission Zone), and Bolzano (Zona a Traffico Limitato) provided insights into the successful traffic management solutions implemented in their cities.

EFKON technologies make a significant contribution to the realization of environmentally sustainable traffic systems in cities. A prominent example is the City Toll Oslo, whose electronic tolling system was developed, installed, and is technically operated by EFKON. Since its introduction, car traffic has been reduced by around 8%, while CO₂ emissions from road traffic have decreased by up to 20% – accompanied by a noticeable shift toward public transport use.
With this expertise, EFKON is well prepared to actively support European cities and municipalities in implementing modern and sustainable mobility solutions.
